This past Sunday, McCoy was at it again, carrying the ball 13 times for 53 yards and a touchdown in the fourth quarter as Buffalo held off a late rally from Indianapolis to win 37-5. The victory was Buffalo's third in a row and moved them into sole possession of first place in the AFC East.
For his efforts, McCoy was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week. It was his second such award this season, having previously won it for his performance against Minnesota in Week 3.
McCoy and company will look to keep things going when they host Houston this coming Sunday. With a win over the Texans, Buffalo would improve to 6-2 on the year and all but guarantee themselves a spot in the playoffs.

Hold has been especially impressive, throwing for over 1,000 yards and 14 touchdowns in just five games.
"I've been around football my entire life and I've never seen anything like this," said Hits. "It's just amazing to be a part of it."

In spite of this loss, many fans believe that Buffalo's playoff future looks bright with Peterman under center; given more experience, he could become one of the best quarterbacks in the league.
